HOLOCAUST SURVIVOR EVA KOR

Holocaust Survivor Eva Kor delivered her message of survival and forgiveness to a standing-room-only crowd at the Valparaiso University Harre Union ballrooms on Monday, November 12, 2018.

Eva’s words were extremely well received, the huge audience attentive and engaged throughout.  After her presentation, she answered questions and signed books and posed for photographs for more than an hour.

The VIC is grateful to its partners in this successful endeavor:  Valparaiso University College of Arts & Sciences, Indiana Dunes Tourism, Porter County Museum, and Social Action Leadership Team.  The program was funded in part with a Valparaiso Human Relations Council Community Cultural Grant and the City of Valparaiso.

Note:  The VIC was saddened to learn of the death of the inspirational Eva Kor on July 4, 2019.  We were honored to host her visit to Valparaiso in November 2018.  May she rest in peace.
